2nd Man Charged In Oak Forest Homicide: Police
A second Chicago man has been charged in connection with the murder of an Elburn man found dead inside an Oak Forest home May 23.

OAK FOREST, IL — A second man has been charged in connection with the murder of a man found dead inside an Oak Forest home last month.
On Saturday, May 31, the Illinois Department of Corrections and the U.S. Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force took 32-year-old Rashee Wyrick of Chicago into custody in connection with the May 23 homicide of 54-year-old Edward Lewis of Elburn in a home in the 15500 block of Long Avenue. Wyrick has been charged along with Michael Protho, 30, of Chicago with one count of first-degree murder.
Wyrick’s court date has been set for Tuesday, June 3 at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
