4 Coronavirus Cases At Bjorklund House In Oak Forest: Report
Four residents of an Oak Forest home for adults with disabilities have tested positive, the Daily Southtown reports.
OAK FOREST, IL — At least four people living in Oak Forest have tested positive for the new coronavirus. The Daily Southtown reports the four are all between the ages of 35 and 65 and are residents at the Bjorklund House, a group home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The rooms at the home have all been isolated to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 illness, according to the report. Two of the residents who tested positive are recovering with guardians, one is at Palos Community Hospital and one remains at the Bjorklund House.
All four are believed to have contracted the coronavirus while at the Elim Community Day Center.
