5 Suspects Smash Out Oak Forest 7-Eleven Window, Escape With Items: PD

The early-morning burglary did not result in the five suspects taking any cash and no weapon was used in the incident, police said.

OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest Police are searching for five suspects who police said smashed the front window of a local 7-Eleven convenience store this week, removed items, and then ran, police said.

The burglary took place at 2:51 a.m. on Tuesday at the 7-Eleven on 167th Street just off Cicero, Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid said. Five suspects smashed out a window at the store and escaped with items from the store before fleeing the area.

No weapons were involved in the incident and no cash was taken, Reid said on Wednesday.
