OAK FOREST, IL — The city has opened applications for proposals from auto-mechanics and other repair services to work on the city's emergency vehicle fleet.
The Oak Forest Fire Department is searching for a new maintenance crew to repair fire apparatuses, ambulances and other "special service response vehicles" in its fleet.
All applications should include prices, company name and contact information to be submitted to Interim Fire Chief Garrick Kasper.

Officials told possible proposers to keep in mind the maintenance needed for the emergency vehicles is both preventative and repair. Applications are due by Jan. 18 at 5 p.m.
