Back To School: Your Forest Ridge District 142 2023-24 School Calendar

OAK FOREST, IL — Back-to-school planning is in its final steps in Oak Forest's Forest Ridge District 142, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.

The first day of school for grades kindergarten through eighth grade in District 142 is Aug. 24.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the District 142 calendar for late starts, early dismissals, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, athletic and school events. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:
