Back-To-School Health Fair On Saturday In Oak Forest
The health fair will offer school physicals, immunizations, dental exams and free kidney and diabetes screenings.
OAK FOREST, IL — A community health fair event is coming to Oak Forest on Saturday.
The event is hosted by Valley Kingdom Ministries International, and will provide free back-to-school physicals and immunizations by the University of Chicago Pediatric Mobile Medical Unit. The COVID-19 vaccine will be available for those 12 and up. The event will take place at Valley Kingdom Ministries International, 5217 W. 149th St., Oak Forest, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The health fair will also feature dental exams by Dr. Jerrod W. Smith, Sr. DDS from Dental-schoolhouse.com by appointment. Call 773-834-8850 to schedule a dental screening.

Free kidney and diabetes screenings will also be made available by the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for anyone 18 years and older. Call 312-321-1500 to schedule an appointment time. The Kidney and Diabetes screenings will take place at Valley Kingdom Ministries, located at 5300 W. 151st Street, Oak Forest.
