No Bomb Found At Central Middle School
Classes resume tomorrow at Central Middle after police found no evidence of a bomb, despite a threat written on a bathroom wall.

TINLEY PARK, IL — No bomb was found at Central Middle School in Tinley Park, and officials have cleared the campus to reopen while police continue to investigate who made the threat. Afternoon activities have been canceled, but classes will resume as scheduled Thursday, a spokesman said.
Student who were not picked up at Memorial Middle School have returned to Central, where classes will resume until 2:55 p.m. Busses will run on schedule.
District officials notified on parents through Facebook and automated calls around 10:30 Wednesday that a bomb threat been made, and that students were evacuated to nearby Memorial.

District 146 spokesman Keegan Kociss said that the threat was found written on a bathroom wall at the school, and administrators were immediately alerted.
Officials said they did not believe the threat was credible. Police, however, were at both schools to ensure students' safety, Kociss said.

Parents were permitted to pick up their children at Memorial, and by 1:15 p.m, after police gave the all-clear call, remaining students were bussed back to Central.
