Bremen High School Students Explore Real-World Money Management

The event provided students with an engaging and interactive way to build financial literacy.

(D228)

On February 27, Bremen High School transformed its main gym into a bustling financial town as 169 Personal Finance students participated in the JA Finance Park® simulation. With guidance from 25 business and community volunteers, students stepped into the shoes of working professionals, tasked with managing a personal budget and making real-world financial decisions.

Through hands-on activities, students navigated expenses such as housing, transportation, groceries, and savings, applying the skills they had learned in class to practical scenarios. Volunteers shared their expertise, offering insights into responsible financial planning and career decision-making.

The event provided students with an engaging and interactive way to build financial literacy—an essential life skill. Bremen High School is proud to partner with Junior Achievement to equip students with the knowledge they need to navigate their financial futures successfully.
