MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Bremen High School will be closed Thursday, officials said, citing stress on the building's air conditioning system.

Other schools in the Bremen District 228 will remain open, officials said, and they will continue to be monitored.

Officials stressed Thursday is not an e-learning day for Bremen High School. All activities and athletics are also canceled. Classes at Bremen will be back in session Friday, Aug. 25.
