Car Stolen From Oak Forest Man Wrecked In Chicago Chase: Cops
Three men are wanted by police stemming from the incident last week.

OAK FOREST, IL β An Oak Forest man's stolen car was involved in police chase last week that ended in a crash on Chicago's Far South Side, the Daily Southtown reports. Three men are being sought in connection with the car theft and accident, the report added.
According to police, the chase happened July 19, with the men in the stolen 2011 Kia led officers on a chase through Chicago's Riverdale neighborhood, the report stated. The Kia hit another car and eventually ran through a fence near 134th Street and St. Lawrence Avenue. Following the accident, the stolen car was severely damaged and unable to be driven, the report added.
Officers searched the car and found a pair of stolen items to go with the stolen vehicle. A handgun that was reported stolen from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was discovered, as well as a laptop computer that had been stolen from Hammond, Indiana, the Southtown reports.

Two iPhones also were recovered, along with a wallet that didn't belong to the stolen car's owner, the report stated. The wallet included information for a man with addresses in Markham and Phoenix, the report added.
