Coronavirus Case Confirmed In Midlothian
The first coronavirus case in Midlothian has been confirmed.
MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Village officials in Midlothian have confirmed the first case of the new coronavirus in the village. The Office of Mayor Gary L'Heureux confirmed the case on Tuesday. In Oak Forest, the Daily Southtown reports four residents of the Bjorklund House have also tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Midlothian person's age or gender was not shared. Their condition wasn't known either as of Wednesday.
Overall, Midlothian residents and businesses have been praised by L'Heureux for their cooperation with the state of Illinois' "stay-at-home" order enacted this past weekend.
