The most pressing issues facing our district are _______, and this is what I intend to do about them.

Communication. - provide open lines of communication between parents and staff and the community.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I care about the students since my children are currently part of the district.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community or district?

Communication and accountability.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Making sure that teachers have resources needed to teach all students no matter what needs they may require.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have held multiple positions on different boards and committees.

Why should voters trust you?

I have nothing to gain except making the district a better place for students, staff and the community.

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office a success?

I would like to accomplish changes within the district regarding curriculum and the impact it has on the students.

What guidance should staff be given for dealing with potential ICE enforcement at schools?

I believe in following the law.

How do you feel about sex education being taught in school? Should an LGBTQ component be included, and why or why not?

Certain things regarding sex education are important to be talked about. As far as LHBTQ I believe that should be talked about at home. It’s the parents responsibility to decide what, when, where those topics are discussed.

Should cell phones be banned during school? Why or why not?

I believe phones should be left in lockers

When it comes to student achievement, what are schools within this district doing well and what needs to be improved? How can those improvements be made?

I think they are lacking in many aspects. The main issue is with the lack of communication or the very little details we as parents are giving it’s hard to know exactly what’s going on

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

I believe if I was to move out of district or no longer have kids in the district I would step down since I would have no reason for input for a district I’m not a part of.
