Emergency Management Agency Volunteers Needed In Oak Forest

OAK FOREST, IL — The Village of Oak Forest is looking for people who want to volunteer on a team that helps prepare and coordinate responses to emergencies.

The Emergency Management Agency of Oak Forest provides equipment and volunteers during disasters and emergencies. It began in 1962 as the Oak Forest Civil Defense after a tornado hit the El Vista subdivision near 151st Street and Central Avenue.
