Ex-Boyfriend Suspected in House Egging: Blotter
An Oak Forest woman contacted police on Nov. 2 over harassing phone calls and emails from a former lover.

A 45-year-old Oak Forest woman's house and garage were covered in broken eggs she believes were thrown by a troublesome ex-boyfriend.
The woman told Oak Forest police that the 36-year-old boyfriend had moved out of her home three months ago and was staying in Blue Island. According to a police report, the woman had an order of protection against the man prior to the egging.
The vandalism happened sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 2 and 5:31 p.m. on Nov. 4, the report states.

Since moving out, the ex-boyfriend had called the woman's cell phone repeatedly, including eight times on Nov. 3, and started emailing, the report states. None of the emails were threatening, but the woman was concerned they could escalate.
The man had been arrested previously after police responded to a domestic violence call in July, the report states.

Oak Forest police were unable to reach the man by telephone after the egging incident was reported, the report states. The woman told police she did not want to press charges but was seeking another order of protection.
