Family Says Midlothian Woman Shot On Dan Ryan Was Being Chased: Report
According to state police, 27-year-old Darren Jackson died from her injuries Saturday after the May 21 shooting on the expressway.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — A 27-year-old Midlothian woman died Saturday after a May 21 shooting on the Dan Ryan Expressway, Illinois State Police said.
According to reports, the family of Midlothian esthetician and mother Darren Jackson said she was being chased in the moments before the shooting. Jackson even called 9-1-1 to report a vehicle following hers.

Jackson was found injured in her vehicle on the expressway near 47th Street on May 21 at around 8:30 p.m. ISP told Patch the shots came from another vehicle on the road.
