MIDLOTHIAN, IL β A man who walked into two Midlothian businesses next door to each other near 147th and Cicero looking for money by implying he had a gun came away with nothing but felony robbery charges Saturday night, police in the Chicago suburb said.
Midlothian police said on Facebook that Raymond Pressley, 43, of Bridgeview, first went into Madori's Liquors at 14710 S. Cicero Ave. around 7:30 p.m., demanded money from the clerk and "inferred that he had a handgun."
The clerk refused to give him any money, police said, and Pressley left the store.
