Gaelic Park Hosts Donation Drive For St. Vincent de Paul Society

OAK FOREST, IL — Anyone looking to clean out their closet this spring has an opportunity to donate to a good cause.

Chicago Gaelic Park, 6119 W. 147th St., will host a Society of St. Vincent de Paul donation drive event on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.

The collection truck will be in Gaelic Park’s east parking lot, accepting donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.

Donations of new or gently used items in boxes and/or bags are accepted. Donations such as clothing, jewelry, linens, lamps, toys, shoes, blankets, rugs, office supplies, household items, purses, draperies, tools, and books will support people in need.
