Gaelic Park Raffling Off New Construction Home In Mt. Greenwood

The charity arm of Oak Forest's Gaelic Park is raffling off a home valued at $650,000. Tickets are $100 each.

OAK FOREST, IL β€” It might take the Luck of the Irish, but someone this upcoming spring will win a new construction home in Chicago's Mt. Greenwood neighborhood.

Through its Win a Chicago Home Raffle, Gaelic Park Charities is offering the chance to win a new construction home in Chicago’s Mount Greenwood neighborhood. The 2-story custom home, located at 10430 South Sawyer Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, has an estimated value of $650,000. The winner may opt for $450,000 in lieu of the home. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased online or by calling Chicago Gaelic Park. The winner will be drawn on March 24, 2024, and will not need to be present to win.

"Many people have great memories of coming to Gaelic Park for weddings, showers, parties, and festivals. But Gaelic Park has a nonprofit arm focused on celebrating Irish heritage and culture and supporting the larger community," said John Devitt, Gaelic Park board member and past president.

Raffle proceeds will benefit Gaelic Park Charities, the nonprofit arm of Gaelic Park dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Irish culture and heritage through such popular events as an annual Heritage & Harvest Fest, Irish Fest, Ireland on Parade, Kids’ Cultural Camp, as well as high-quality music, dance, and theater productions. Gaelic Park Charities also gives back to the local community, providing financial support to other charitable organizations and scholarships for promising high school students.

"The Win a Chicago Home Raffle offers a great opportunity to grant a raffle winner a beautiful new home or a cash option of $450,000 while giving back to the charity which benefits projects near and dear to Gaelic Park," said Bill O’Sullivan, Gaelic Park president.
