Golfers, Sponsors Sought For Project Fire Buddies Fundraiser

Project Fire Buddies' 'Fire In The Hole' golf outing is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at George Dunne Golf Course in Oak Forest.

OAK FOREST, IL — Local nonprofit Project Fire Buddies known for its work supporting children and families battling critical illness is seeking golfers and sponsors for its second annual golf outing fundraiser, set for Oct. 5 at George Dunne Golf Course in Oak Forest.

Project Fire Buddies is a volunteer-led effort by local fire departments. It began in Oak Forest in 2016, and his since grown to include 105 chapters across 8 states.

Registration is open now for its fundraiser Fire In The Hole golf outing, Oct. 5 at George Dunne, 16310 Central Ave. Shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Individual golfer are $160 per person, and $640 for a foursome. The cost includes 18 holes of golf plus use of a cart, and a goodie bag and event T-shirt. The day includes a light breakfast, lunch and dinner, and complimentary beverages on the course. A basket raffle will also be held, in addition to a 50/50 raffle, organizers said. Project Fire Buddies will also be on-site selling merchandise.

  • Hook & Ladder Sponsorship: $2,500
    • Includes name/logo on welcome banner, corporate advertising on golf cart GPS, hole sponsor and complimentary golf foursome
  • Fire Drill Sponsorship: $1,500
    • Includes golf cart signage, hole sponsor, and complimentary golf foursome
  • Onsite Sponsorship: $250 (only 13 left)
    • Set up a tent and/or table and have some fun with the golfers; have a game for them to play or hand out a giveaway.
  • Hole Sponsor: $150
    • Includes signage placed at a hole
