Grey's Social Kitchen To Open In Former Oak Forest Breakfast Place
The former site of Kingsberry Waffle House will become a kitchen and bar with a new bar and outdoor patio later this summer.
OAK FOREST, IL — A kitchen and bar will soon take over the former Kingsberry Pancake House in Oak Forest, business officials announced.
Grey's Social Kitchen & Bar is expected to open in the 5420 West 159th Street location sometime later in the summer. The business will first have to remodel the former breakfast place to add a bar and heated outdoor patio.
Kingsberry's Oak Forest location announced its closing in December after a "family crisis," a spokesperson told Patch. The Flossmoor location will remain open and offered jobs to all former Oak Forest workers.

Other renovations on the property will include improved landscaping, signage and an interior remodeling.
