Is Your Baby's Diaper Wet? There's An App for That

Many Patch Facebook readers are shaking their heads at a new product that tweets mom and dad every time baby makes a tinkle.

Yes, even baby diapers have joined the digital revolution thanks to the new Huggies TweetPee app.

The Brazilian-launched product includes an electronic device with moisture sensor which is affixed to the front of an baby’s diaper. When the baby urinates, mom or dad gets a tweet on their smartphones. They can also choose to order more diapers directly from the phone.

Although the device is not currently availabe in America, we shared the news with our Facebook friends. So far, the responses have been pretty incredulous. Here’s a sample of what we heard:
