Man, 22, Stabbed Multiple Times At Charity Picnic, 1 Person In Custody: Oak Forest PD
The incident happened Sunday night in the 5900 block of 147th Street, police said Monday.
OAK FOREST, IL — One person is in custody after a man was stabbed multiple times in Oak Forest Sunday night, police said Monday.
At around 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Oak Forest Police were called to the area of 5900 W. 147th St. for a report of a stabbing victim. The incident took place during the Zespol Goralski Wanta Charity Picnic, police have confirmed.
Police found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

While on scene, police were alerted to a possible offender, who was taken into custody and is currently being held pending charges.
