Man, 24, Shot Near Midlothian Apartment, Shooter At Large: Police

Midlothian police said officers found the 24-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds laying in an apartment parking lot Wednesday night.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — Police are looking for a man who they said shot and seriously wounded a 24-year-old Wednesday night.

According to authorities, officers heard gunshots coming from the intersection of 147th Street and Homan Avenue at around 11:35 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived on the scene, officers found a 24-year-old man laying in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.

Midlothian Police Chief Daniel Delaney told Patch multiple witnesses saw the 24-year-old in an argument with another man who then pulled out a gun and shot the 24-year-old multiple times before speeding away in a dark colored SUV.

Police took the man to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition as of Thursday morning.
