Man Found Dead In Oak Forest Creek Identified: Medical Examiner

The man has been identified as a 38-year-old Oak Forest resident who lived on the block where his body was found in Natalie Creek.

OAK FOREST, IL — The man who was found dead in an Oak Forest creek has been identified, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The body of Kenneth McClain, 38, was found Tuesday afternoon at around 2 p.m. According to information from the medical examiner's ledger, McClain was incapacitated in some way at 1:42 p.m. and died at 1:57 p.m.

McClain lived on the block where his body was found in Natalie Creek. Police were in the 15500 block of Long Avenue until Tuesday evening conducting a death investigation.

McClain's cause of death had not been determined as of Wednesday afternoon. Authorities could not immediately say if there were any signs of foul play.
