Man Found Shot At Oak Forest Apartments, Police Investigating
The 38-year-old victim was shot several times, Oak Forest police said.
OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest police are investigating after a man was found shot in the hallway of an apartment building early Wednesday.
Police were called just before 3 a.m. to a report of shots fired in the 15700 block of Lake Drive. Officers found a 38-year-old man with several gunshot wounds in the entryway of the building, police said in a release.
Oak Forest police units provided life-saving measures to the victim until Oak Forest Fire Department personnel arrived to take him to an area hospital. The victim is currently in serious but stable condition.
