Boil Order Lifted In Oak Forest

OAK FOREST, IL — A boil order that had been issued for some Oak Forest residents on Friday was lifted Saturday afternoon.

The City of Oak Forest issued the boil order for some Oak Forest residents, effective Friday morning and until further notice, the City said. That order was then lifted by Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Homes impacted included all those on David Lane and two homes (5917 and 5925) on Rob Roy.

The order was issued as the City worked to replace its water main in the immediate area.
