Manhunt On After Guns Found In Vehicle: Cops
A man was in custody and another was still at large after officers responded to a call of a possible drug deal, Midlothian police said.

MIDLOTHIAN, IL — One man was in custody Sunday, and a manhunt was on for another after Midlothian police a vehicle filled with dozens of guns while investigating a suspected drug deal in a pharmacy parking lot. Police have asked residents around 149th Street and Knox Avenue to stay in their homes and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
The incident happened Sunday, Sept. 30, when officers responded to a call of a possible drug sale in the Walgreens parking lot in the 4800 W. 148th Street. When police arrived at the store, the suspects fled the scene on foot, and officers discovered the gun cache in the vehicle the men had run from, according to Midlothian police.
A perimeter was set up in the area of 149th Street and Knox Avenue that involved police from multiple communities, as well as K9 units and a helicopter. Officers were going yard to yard in their search, police said.

Authorities were eventually able to apprehend of the men, according to police. A description of the remaining suspect still at large was described as a black man, 18 to 20 years old, wearing black pants, a black shirt and a gray hooded sweatshirt, police said.
