Markham Man Identified As Oak Forest Shooting Victim
A Markham man has been identified as the victim of shooting in Oak Forest last Wednesday.
OAK FOREST, IL — A Markham man has been identified as the victim of shooting in Oak Forest last week. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 31-year-old Thomas Smith, the Chicago Tribune reported.
He was found last Wednesday night at about 10:30 p.m. after Oak Forest police responded to a call about a possible robbery on the 4700 block of West 167th Street.
Oak Forest police and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating.
