OAK FOREST, IL — Bremen District 228's turned out proud last week to visit the unveiling of the long-awaited field houses on each of the district's four high school campuses.
The new field houses are part of the second phase of a seven-year, $74 million-project that included all four high schools: Tinley Park, Oak Forest, Bremen and Hillcrest high schools. The state-of-the-art facilities include amenities such as an indoor running track, basketball court, workout rooms, and space for health and driver's education classes.
Architectural Resource Corporation of Frankfort designed the buildings. The district broke ground on the projects in March 2018, and held ribbon-cutting ceremonies to debut the new buildings last week.
