No Bombs At Oak Forest HS: Police
A bomb threat at Oak Forest High School shut down the school Thursday, but police have cleared the area. Classes resume Tuesday.

OAK FOREST, IL — No bombs were found at Oak Forest High School, where a lunchtime threat promised to blow up the school with seven bombs placed around the building.
The threat caused the district to cancel classes early. All classes will resume at the regular time Tuesday morning because the school was already scheduled to be closed Friday for an institute day, and on Monday in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday.
Police said the bomb threat was reported just before noon Thursday. It said that notes were left throughout the school, and that the school would be blown up by seven different bombs that would go off at different times.
