Oak Forest 'Church Ladies' Hold Pop-Up Pierogi Sale Ahead Of Christmas
The "Church Ladies Test Kitchen" of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will hold a one-day sale on Saturday, Dec. 13.
OAK FOREST, IL — Anyone looking for a special treat for their Christmas dinner tables, some local, self-proclaimed "Church Ladies" have you covered.
The “Church Ladies Test Kitchen” at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (15050 Central Ave., Oak Forest) heard the public's request for another sale, and will have the pierogi ready in time for your Christmas dinner at a pop-up sale. The one-day event follows a successful weekend sale Nov. 22–23, the organizers said.
"The sale this weekend was fantastic and people are asking for more for Christmas so we've listened to what they want," they said.

On Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., stop by the church for flavors including:
- Potato
- Kraut
- Meat
- Spinach
- Blueberry
- Sweet Cheese
- Peach/Strawberry
- Savory Cheese
- limited quantities of new test flavor mushroom/onions
Price is $8 per 1/2 dozen. There will not be a pre-order option—it's first come, first served!
