Oak Forest 'Church Ladies' Ready For Your Pierogi Orders For Easter

OAK FOREST, IL — Anyone looking for a special treat for their Easter dinner table, some local, self-proclaimed "Church Ladies" have you covered.

The pierogi pros at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 15050 Central Ave. in Oak Forest, are accepting pre-orders for their recipes "straight from the Church Ladies' Test Kitchen."
The group offers several flavors including:

• potato
• kraut
• meat
• sweet cheese
• spinach
• blueberry

"Made with love, our pierogi are great as an appetizer, side dish or snack," the chefs said in a release.

With a limited quantity available, pre-order is required, with a cut-off of March 17. All pierogi are made to order and freshly frozen for pickup on April 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All pierogi are made to order and freshly frozen in half dozens.
