OAK FOREST, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mother has worked so hard her entire life to ensure happiness for her six kids. She does whatever she can, whenever she can, just to make sure all six of her grown kids are taken care of. I can’t imagine a more selfless woman.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She’s been a great mom to myself and my brothers and an even better grandmother to her three granddaughters!
