Oak Forest Officer Injured In Shoot-Out Remains 'Serious But Stable'
As of Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the city said the officer was still in serious but stable condition. Police did not release his name.

OAK FOREST, IL — An officer who was shot and injured Sunday by a 21-year-old woman remains in serious condition as of Wednesday, Oak Forest officials said.
According to a spokeswoman for the city, the officer was in "serious but stable" condition Wednesday evening. He has been listed in the same condition since Sunday when he was taken to a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound, officials said.
The spokeswoman did not immediately respond to questions on the officer's identity or where he was shot but did say the injured officer was a man.
