Oak Forest Park District Presents Zoom Spanish Courses For Kids
The Oak Forest Park District will be teaching through engaging activities, music, writing, conversations in Spanish and more.
OAK FOREST, IL — The Oak Forest Park District will be hosting Spanish courses starting this October over Zoom, according to the park district.
Children will learn the Spanish language live through Zoom in "fun and interactive" classes, according to the park district. Older children will learn conversational Spanish as well as phonetics to begin reading and writing the language.
The park district said middle school and junior high aged students will learn basic conversational Spanish to help give them a strong foundation for the high school language class. High school students may receive extra help outside of their school Spanish courses, according to the district.

Each of these classes will be taught live by a Language In Action, Inc. Instructor over Zoom, according to the park district. All information in regards to accesses Zoom will be emailed to participants upon registration or before their first class.
Classes and fees are as followed, according to the park district—

- Kindergarten- 3rd Grade: Thursdays from Oct. 22- Dec. 3 and Jan. 14-Feb 18, from 4:30-5:15 p.m. The cost for the course is $70 for residents and $80 for non-residents.
- 4th-6th Grade: Thursdays from Oct. 22- Dec. 3 and Jan. 14-Feb 18, from 5:30-6:15 p.m. The cost for the course is $70 for residents and $80 for non-residents.
- Middle school and junior high students: Tuesdays from Oct. 20- Dec. 1, and Jan. 12- Feb. 16 from 4-4:45 p.m. The cost for the course is $70 for residents and $80 for non-residents.
- High school students: Tuesdays from Oct. 20- Dec. 1, and Jan. 12- Feb. 16 from 5:15-6:15 p.m. The cost for the course is $70 for residents and $80 for non-residents.
