Oak Forest Police Officer Testing: Apply Now

OAK FOREST, IL — The Oak Forest Police Department is looking for a new officer, and qualifying applicants can apply now. The pay starts at nearly $49,000 annually.

"The Oak Forest Police Department takes pride in keeping their community safe by providing professional and effective police services," the department said.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or an equivalent, have no felony convictions and some other requirements.

For a chance at the job, apply to take the test by Jan. 16, 2019. The test is on Saturday, Feb. 2 at Oak Forest High School. There's a $35 non-refundable application fee. Applications aren't available at the station.
