Oak Forest defense stops NL high powered Offense to win Super Bowl

The Oak Forest Raiders Pee Wee football team capped off an outstanding season by winning the Super Bowl, defeating New Lenox 12–8 in a thrilling championship matchup at Stagg High School.

After suffering a tough loss to New Lenox during the regular season, the Raiders entered the playoffs with a new team motto — “Down but not out!” That phrase became the rallying cry for a determined squad that refused to quit, winning three straight games to capture the title.

Head Coach Kevin Weber praised his players for their heart and resilience.

“We’re firing on all cylinders as a team, and I honestly believe we are the best Pee Wee team out there,” Weber said. “It showed beating New Lenox 12–8.”

The energy from the stands matched the intensity on the field, as fans could be heard chanting, “Where my dogs at?” followed by a thunderous “Whoof!!” echoing throughout the Stagg High School bleachers.
