Oak Forest Seeks Public Input On Natalie Creek Trail September 17
The Natalie Creek Trail is multi-use route connecting Crestwood, Blue Island, Midlothian and Oak Forest. Officials want your feedback.

OAK FOREST, IL —The City of Oak Forest will host an open house September 17 for residents and trail enthusiasts to learn about a proposed multi-use trail connecting the Cal-Sag Trail along the Channel to the Tinley Creek Trail in the Cook County Forest Preserves in Oak Forest
The city is partnering with four communities to develop the Natalie Creek Trail, a 12.5-mile route for bicycles and pedestrians from Crestwood and Blue Island through Midlothian to Oak Forest. This project is in the first engineering phase and best route options are being studied.
At the meeting, officials will take input from residents, cycle enthusiasts and stakeholders.

The Natalie Creek Trail is funded by a grant from the Invest in Cook County Program and matching contributions from the municipalities of Oak Forest, Crestwood and Midlothian.
The open house will be held in the city council chambers at City Hill from 6 to 8 p.m., Tues., Sept. 17, in the council chambers at City Hall at 15440 S. Central Avenue.
