Oak Forest Trick Or Treat Hours Set For Halloween 2025

OAK FOREST, IL — Halloween is coming up quick—it's almost time to put finishing touches on costumes and stock up on candy for ghoulish visitors.

This year, Oct. 31 falls on a Friday, and trick or treat hours in Oak Forest will be 3 to 8 p.m. Residents can download a sign indicating if they are welcoming trick-or-treaters, or if kids should skip their home.

Parents should keep the following tips in mind to ensure everyone stays safe and has a spooky good time:

• Always stay on sidewalks when possible.
• Flashlights or glowsticks can help with visibility.
• A responsible adult should accompany young children.
