Oak Forest Warriors Host Annual Green & White Wrestling Tournament
Wrestling is right around the corner

The Oak Forest Warriors are set to hit the mats once again for their annual Green & White Tournament and 5th Annual Girls Open on Sunday December 7, 2025, at Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills.
This popular event, hosted by the Oak Forest Park District, has become a winter tradition that draws hundreds of young wrestlers from across the region. With divisions for both boys and girls and competition following IKWF folkstyle rules, the tournament promises a full day of high-energy matchups and community spirit.
Weigh-ins will take place at each team’s practice facility on December 6, and the event is limited to the first 1,200 wrestlers—a testament to just how big the Warriors’ reputation has grown in youth wrestling circles.
