Oak Forest's Jolly Jamboree Set To Kick Off 2025 Holiday Season
Oak Forest's Jolly Jamboree is set for Saturday, Dec. 6.
OAK FOREST, IL — Oak Forest will welcome the holiday season with a very jolly gathering set for Saturday, Dec. 6.
The city's Jolly Jamboree will take place at City Hall, 15440 S. Central Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon.
Santa will be there, parked inside the building and ready to hear wish lists. Visits with Santa will be captured by Blink of an Eye Photography, the City said. Guests will have two packages to choose from—4x6 with a paper frame for $10 or wood frame for $20—(cash or credit), with photos printed on-site. Caricatures will also be created on-site by artist Mark Odewald.

Next door at Oak Forest Fire Station 1, 5620 James Dr., DJ Loren of Fun, Fun, Fun DJs will play holiday music as visitors decorate cookies (while supplies last), visit with Bluey, and have your face painted from Marvelous Faces. Trim-a-tree contest winners will be announced at 10:30 a.m. You can still sign up for the contest!
Outside, visitors can soar down the giant inflatable slide or ride the holiday express before grabbing some holiday sips at the Emerald Cup Coffee trailer—warm up with the best specialty coffee, hot chocolate and other seasonal drinks.

For safety reasons, there will be no parking available in the City Hall lot during the event. However, limited handicap spaces will be available in front of City Hall. You must have a handicap placard or license plate to park in this designated area. All other attendees are asked to park legally on side streets near City Hall.
If you need to visit the police station during event hours, please park on the side street and walk over or call 708-687-1376 (non-emergency number) to speak to an officer.
