She was the former broker/owner of ERA Key Realty in Evergreen Park, she truly found her niche at a young age while raising her family.

Veda Earlene (Reyna) Stulgis

Age 83, of Morris, Illinois and formerly Oak Forest, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, Thursday evening, January 11, 2024. She was born March 3, 1940 to the late Mary (Maggert) and Earl Marley in Chicago where she was raised and educated.

She is the beloved wife of Kenneth Stulgis; loving mother of Kathleen (Dan) Sarrett, Eugene Reyna, Gary (Tami) Reyna and Dana Mitchell; devoted grandmother of Scott Sarrett, Kristin (Nathan) Megaw, Roxanne (Brian) Psenicnik; Tania Reyna, Nicole Reyna (Fred Barrios), Eugene (Elizabeth) Reyna; Zachary (Svetlana) Reyna, Alexis (Matthew) Borger and Joshua (Taylor) Reyna; Taylor (Matt) Trusz, Jeremy Mitchell and Marley (Ben) Rychart; cherished "Nanny" of 27 and great grandmother of 5. Also surviving are Ken's sons, Todd Stulgis and Lee (Connie) Stulgis and their children.

Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Earlene will be remembered fondly as a hardworking, energetic problem solver, who established long lasting relationships assisting many over the years. As the former broker/owner of ERA Key Realty in Evergreen Park, she truly found her niche at a young age while raising her family.

Her memory will live on in her familys' hearts forever.

Visitation for Earlene will be Wednesday January 17, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt 6 (at Deerpath Drive) Morris. Interment in Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 (act.alz.org)
