OAK FOREST, IL — Many Halloween displays are memorable. The Jarm family has been hosting a public display called "Graveyard On Roy Street" for 24 years. Last year, Lee Jarm passed the tradition of their Halloween full yard display and walking path to his kids.

After living in Oak Forest for 26 years, Lee said their family's traditional display is now called Lost Souls In Lakeside, at a new location, 3110 10o St. in Highland, Indiana. The name change came when Lee passed the tradition on to his kids, Troy Jarm and Vincent Ulbricht.

"We made many memories over the years. Bus loads would come but now it's [time for] a new generation to continue with what I built," Lee said. "I will miss it, but not the hard work or the weather. Frees me up to do other things."

The display is for the public to enjoy and after walking through the display, participants are able to get some candy, according to Lee. The former owner also said it will always be free, but the last few years the family has collected donation money.

"Last five years we took donations for Childhood Leukemia Foundation after our grandbaby came down with it," Lee said. "Now we are going into our retirement. I passed the graveyard on to my children who now live in Indiana."
