Police first responded to a domestic disturbance call just after 6:30 a.m. at the home where the four victims lived. There, they found two victims with gunshot wounds in the driveway, and another shot in the road near the house.
Police said officers pulled the victims into their patrol cars and took them to a safer area to render aid. All three victims later died from their injuries after being taken to area hospitals, according to officials.

Police said the shooter was still at the home when the victims were taken from the scene.
Officers surrounded the house, where they say the shooter was barricaded inside, and a child was sent out of the home and evacuated. A fire then started inside the home, and after it was extinguished, a fourth person, assumed to be the shooter, was found dead inside, police said.
It was not immediately clear which of the four people identified was the person inside the home.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Ryan Burnett at the Oak Forest Police Department at 708-687-1376 or rburnett@oak-forest.org.
