OAK FOREST, IL — It might have been a bit brisk, but clear skies enticed hundreds out to line Central Avenue Saturday, March 4 for Oak Forest's 14th annual Fleadh parade.

More than 50 civic groups, dancers, sports teams, politicians—even some on stilts—traipsed down the green-lined street, tossing candy and goodies to paradegoers along the way. The parade lasted several blocks, from 151st Street to the Oak Forest Park District building. Hundreds lined the route, decked out in their finest green to celebrate.
