Rollover Accident on I-57 Early Thursday Morning Near Vollmer Road
One man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after the two-car crash.

State Police and Matteson Police responded to a rollover accident on I-57 southbound near Vollmer Road early Thursday morning. Two cars were involved in the crash, which resulted in one car rolling over on the interstate at about 1:50 a.m. and the other sustaining significant damage. Police administered a sobriety test on the scene and took a man into custody on suspicion of DUI. An unknown number of injured people were taken from the scene by ambulance.
