Services Announced For Kenneth McClain, Oak Forest Man Found In Creek

Family of the 38-year-old man requests those interested donate to WBEZ, NPR or a local library in Kenneth's name.

OAK FOREST, IL — Family and friends of 38-year-old Kenneth Charles McClain have announced memorial and visitation services for the Oak Forest resident whose body was found in Natalie Creek Tuesday.

McClain, who family said went by "Kacey," was the son of Donald and Carol McClain. An obituary published to the Brady-Gill Funeral Home website stated the man was a brother to three and an uncle of four nieces and nephews.

According to police, McClain was found in Natalie Creek near his home on the 15500 block of Long Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Officials from the Medical Examiner's Office had not listed a cause of death as of Thursday. Police told Patch they are waiting on toxicology reports.
