St. Damian Brings Home SSBVL Volleyball Championship
St. Damian's 8th graders won the SSBVL Championship after defeating St. Catherine. The boys have played together since 4th grade.
OAK FOREST, IL — St. Damian's eighth graders brought home the South Side Boys Volleyball League championship after defeating third-place St. Catherine last weekend.
The boys, who ranked fifth, won the first set 21-13 and the second set 21-17 at the games held at Brother Rice last Sunday.
The win marks the last time the boys will be playing as team. They've been together since fourth grade.
