Stolen Car Backed Into Oak Forest Gun Range In Attempted Robbery
Police said the car used to hit the wall and window of Eagle Sports Range was reported stolen earlier that night in Dolton.
OAK FOREST, IL — Police have still not found the person responsible for backing a car into the wall of Eagle Sports Range on Nov. 17.
According to officials, police arrived at the store on 5900 West 159th Street after the person had fled their car. Authorities said they suspect they backed the car into the gun range in an attempt to rob the place as the same car had been taken during a reported hijacking earlier in Dolton.
Police did not respond to Patch's request for comment on if any suspects have been identified. The stolen car was returned to its owner with rear-end damage, officials said.
