OAK FOREST, IL — Surveillance video captured by the owner of a house that was shot at last Friday shows a group of thieves attempting to steal the De La Cruz family's cars before opening fire on their home.
According to an interview with NBC5, a group had been casing and threatening Samantha De La Cruz's vehicles for a few weeks before finally coming to their Parkside Avenue home.
